CANCELLATION POLICY
We do have a 24 hour in advanced cancellation policy (48 hours for two hour sessions), which requires a valid credit card to secure reservations. All bookings require us to reserve staff and equipment for you. In the event that you need to cancel, please do so 24 hours in advance in order to avoid any fees. If you are unable to give us 24 or 48 hours advance notice you will be charged 50% of the missed appointment fee. For No Show appointments, the entire appointment fee will be charged. Thank you for your understanding.
RESERVING YOUR APPOINTMENT
We require a credit card to reserve your appointment (even if paying with a gift card), however, nothing is charged until the time of service. If you plan to use a gift card for your appointment, please remember to either bring your gift card with you, or you may enter the number in the "notes" field when booking!
LATE ARRIVALS
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
RIGHT OF REFUSAL OF SERVICES
To maintain the safety of our therapists, patrons, and other staff members, Body Therapeutics, LLC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any reason. This includes but is not limited to anyone who requests treatments or services that are outside our scope of practice. We will also exercise this right if anyone arrives for treatment under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
PREPARE:
In order to prepare for your session:
- Drink plenty of water
- Wear comfortable clothes
- Avoid eating a large meal or drinking caffeine/ alcohol
- Remember to breathe deeply and relax!
Body Therapeutics Appointment Protocol for Clients
Due to the nature of our appointments, we must maintain a serene and sterile environment.
In doing so, we ask the following of our clients;
1) Please refrain from bringing children into the spa;
A. Our treatment rooms contain fragile equipment and supplies as well as a serene environment with low lighting, practitioners are unable to perform services safely while a child is in the room without direct supervision. If you are receiving a service, you are unable to provide necessary supervision. This is for your child's safety as well as your own.
B. We offer a range of services, but many of our clients enter the spa with the intention to relax. To maintain a quiet environment for those in the lobby and in-service, we ask that you leave all children under the age of 12 at home when you come to receive a service.
C. Children who are scheduled to receive services at the spa will need a Consent to Treat a Minor form completed by the parent or guardian. Parents or guardians may stay in the treatment room during service.
2) While in the spa, we do not allow phone calls
or excessive volume from electronic devices;
A. If you must take a call, let our receptionist know you are stepping outside, and they will ensure you do not miss your appointment.
B. Playing music or watching videos in the lobby without headphones in the lobby is not permitted. Anyone doing so will be asked to turn off their volume or leave the premises.
3) Use your Inside Voice;
While in session, it may be necessary to communicate with your therapist or spa attendant with regard to your comfort level, working pressure, etc. We ask that you please be respectful of a spa’s efforts by bringing down your voice a few notches. The spa is not a library, you don’t need to whisper, but talk softer than you normally would, and again, refrain from talking on your cell phone.
